InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort exercises a No Pets policy.

What are the reception hours?

The reception at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort is open 24 hours.

Is there Internet or Wi-Fi access available?

There is Wi-Fi access available for a fee unless you are part of IHG Rewards Club where you will receive complimentary Wi-Fi access for the duration of your stay.

Is there public transport nearby?

Yes, we have buses that leave from the Sanctuary Cove Marine Village every day.  

How can I make a booking?

What is the cancelation policy?

The cancellation policy is dependent on the rate type booked. Contact us for more information.

What is the smoking policy?

All our guest rooms are nonsmoking.

Smoking is permitted on external balconies only.

When is the golf course open?

The Pines, Palms and Links Hope Island are open 7 days a week, subject to availability and competitions.

They are only closed on Christmas Day.

Can I book a golf lesson?

Yes, Michael Jones is a golf instructor at Sanctuary Cove Golf.

Bookings can be arranged for $99.00 AUD per hour.

FAQ about our weddings:

Is a deposit required to reserve a space?

Yes, a signed contract and a deposit are required to make a booking.

Is there any room discounts offered to my guests?

All guests that are staying for your wedding will receive a 5% discount on the best flexible daily rate when booking their accommodation through the Resorts Reservations Team.

Is parking provided for our guests?

We have parking available at both our Chapel and main Reception area for all guests.

Can I bring my own decorations?

Couples are more than welcome to bring their own decorations and have the Weddings team set it up on the morning of the wedding, such as bonbonerie's, gift table and place cards.

Any other items will be charged at $35 per staff member per hour.

Are there discounts for children attending the wedding reception?

For children aged 1 year - 12 years old, the price is $45 per child.

This includes:  

  • Meal from the Cove Cafe children's menu
  • Ice-cream Sundae with lollies and chocolate toppings
  • Unlimited soft drinks and juices for the duration of the Reception
  • Styling and resources.

What are the beverage policies?

All of our Reception packages include a beverage package which could range from two to five hours, depending on the package.

Guests can put down a pre-paid bar tab if they wish, to start once the beverage package has concluded.

Guests are also able to purchase their own beverages.

*Spirits are not included in our beverage packages.

What is the payment policy?

There are payment schedules available for people wishing to hold their wedding here at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove.

The deposit schedules are dependent on the size of the wedding.
