The race that stops the nation is almost upon us, so now is a great time to start making your Melbourne Cup Day plans. Celebrate the day of fillies and festivities in the grandest way possible by joining us for our annual Melbourne Cup luncheon, where we host one of the Gold Coast’s favourite events of the season.
On Tuesday 6 November, The Grange will transform into the ultimate race-day haven and will invite guests to enjoy a three-hour luncheon with all the fine trimmings deserving of the luxurious tradition of spring racing.
Fashionistas, it’s time to dust off your finest race-wear worthy of a fashions on the field catwalk, as you will delight in a glass of Petit Cordon by Maison Mumm Sparkling Wine followed by three-hours of flowing beverages and an alternating three-course menu served in the rustic ambience of The Grange. All while indulging in the buzz of Melbourne Cup Day with large TV screens displaying the action, live music entertainment and a host of prizes to be won.
The menu, created by Executive Chef Matt Hart, will see your appetite summoned by entrees of sugar cane-cured ocean trout or chicken and ham terrine, followed by mains of hearty sous wide fillet of beef or Far North Queensland barramundi infused with chili and lime. In the spirit of decadence, your feast will end on a high note with two standout desserts, the romantic rosewater pannacotta served with mint and strawberry salad, or the chocolate mousse dressed in fairy floss and gold-dust.
What better way to celebrate the race of the year than with fabulous friends and fine food, enjoyed in an ambient and beautiful setting?
Lunch runs from 12-3pm and is $145 per person. To make a booking, please contact Emma Heath on (07) 5501 9832 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
