Paradise Country in Oxenford
Only a short 15 minute drive from the Resort, you can experience an authentic Australian farm and enjoy a day kangaroo feeding, seeing the master shearers and visiting the Koala Village. You can also do fossicking for gold and some other precious stones or find out what it is like working in an opal mine at Clancy's Opal Mine.
There's an animal nursery with lambs, calves and piglets for the kids to explore and once you get hungry a sumptuous buffet barbecue is available for the whole family.
Broadwater Parklands in Southport
Located on the Broadwater side of Marine Parade, the parklands is a paradise playground for kids with a zip line, monorail track and giant jumping pillow. You can also find unsheltered sand-based play areas with swings, slides and climbing equipment. Don’t worry we’ve not forgotten about the parents – Shak Expresso is a nearby espresso and ice cream bar offering freshly-made barista coffee for the coffee connoisseur.
Discover a rich abundance of fun-filled activities in Mount Tambourine; take a walk on the Skywalk, a cantilever bridge 30 metres above the forest floor, bring on adventure with a trail ride through forest surrounds or challenge yourself to the on-site ropes course. Kids will absolutely love hunting for thunder eggs or visiting a glow work cave, so rest assured there's an activity that's sure to delight each member of the family.
Take a private yacht charter to Wave Break Island

Take a trip to Paradise Point
A short 15 minute drive from the Resort, this local gem takes you off the mainland, surrounding you with 270-degree water views from this parkland point. There is a separate play area for small kids, BBQ facilities around the esplanade and incredible native bird life.
Don’t feel like cooking? Take the family out to award-winning Mano's Italian Restaurant & Bar. It’s family friendly and “The home of great Italian food where quality and quantity are never compromised”. Their Seafood Platter is highly recommended.
