What's happening on the Gold Coast through May and June

The Queensland Life
The Luxe Life
The Eventful Life

With its constantly pleasant weather and year-round influx of travellers and wanderers, the Gold Coast hums with events and activities each month that are worth getting out and about for. Here, we’ve rounded up what’s happening in our favourite sun-kissed city through May and June.

Join some of Australia’s toughest swimmers, who congregate from all over the nation for the Gold Coast’s premier ocean swim, The Cooly Classic. The competition offers (very brave) punters a rare opportunity to conquer three of Australia’s most revered surf breaks – Snapper Rocks, Coolangatta and Kirra.  If you’re a seasoned swimmer or aspiring triathlete, the 3.0km long course is a great opportunity to test yourself beyond the typical open water distances. Otherwise, head along as a spectator and cheer on our best Aussie swimmers as they triumph again the tide.

Where: Snapper Rock, Coolangatta
