On Friday 22nd March, The Fireplace will present a four-course menu paired with wines from one of the Barrossa Valley's most iconic vineyards, St Hugo.
Settled in The Fireplace's intimate ambience, guests will be treated to Executive Chef Matt Hart's tailored menu with highlights including oysters showered with granita and yuzu pearls, Hiramasa complimented by St Hugo Eden Valley Chardonnay 2017 and a dessert of creamy Woombye truffle-infused triple cream brie.
The hero of the evening, an eye fillet cooked in The Fireplace's traditional wood-fire oven and paired with 2015 St Hugo Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon with a 75ml pour of St Hugo Legacy ‘Last Letter’ Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon 2013. The ‘Last Letter’, a well-balanced hearty, dark fruit and oak flavour, is a limited edition wine, the first in the Legacy Collection from St Hugo.
